I never knew how much I would miss the food until they closed for renovations.
They have my favorite fried rice in Bay Area. All the other food I've tried has been also amazing. The owners are super friendly.
It's definitely in my top five of restaurants out here. -

Terrible home web page ... but they list delayed a month from 08.19.19
We are still CLOSED due to renovations for mandatory building updates.
Our progress has been delayed again. We are still waiting for a walk through with the city of Mountain View for the second construction phase to be approved. The contractors are currently waiting for a permit to proceed with walk through to approve of the structural repair. If our building repairs for our ceiling and wall do not require engineering, they are estimating another 1-2 months to re-open.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Please check back with us by phone or online for updates and re-opening date. Sorry we do not have definitive answers but only estimated .

For what this place is, it 100% deserves 5 stars. No frills, friendly atmosphere, friendly people, and really good food. It's really hard to find this type of place in the US where you can just sit down, talk story, and eat great food at an even better price while feeling right at home. The gentlemen who seemed to be running this place was always checking up on folks asking hot they were doing. You can tell these folks really care about their restaurant.
We ordered the Hunan beef, Orange chicken, and pork chow mein. All of which were awesome! My favorite was the Hunan beef. -

Unpretentious, tasty Chinese American food. Think upscale Panda Express but without corporate - it's all family here :)
The Good
- No wait time, short order to food in belly ratio + lots of seating
- Really tasty and huge portion size... my faves are beef chow fun and Hunan style pork
- Friendly staff! Really nice folks that work here. I think it's a family
The Meh
- Pricey for what I think of as a quick service restaurant but great for the portions ... just hard to eat solo -

5 stars!!! Definitely don't miss lucky Chinese food, Hunan's takes the cake! Seems to be a family owned establishment with such a welcoming feel. The gentlemen who helped us was so friendly and checked on us frequently! And the food, let us not forget.
Orange peel chicken was probably our favorite...light on the sauce, crispy with actual orange peels! No fake tasting orange sauce on this dish. Hot and sour soup was perfect! Bits of tofu, mushrooms etc...hot and sour makes for the perfect combo! Potstickers are HUGE and perfectly crisp...nice and homemade. I think I found a new regular spot :)
